In Kimbo Slice’s last fight (most recent fight-May 12, 2012) Kimbo Slice vs Jesse Porter, Slice went out with a bang as usual. It’s safe to say that he got his first round, knock out punch back in mint condition, because Jesse Porter was out in just a matter of about a minute or so…

We suspect Jesse Porter thought and toyed with the idea that he might have a chance against the never defeated- Kimbo Slice after his previous fight with Brian Green which went all the way into the 4th round, though Kimbo didn’t knock out Brian Green he still won…And at the end of the day that’s what matters.

Kimbo Slice gave Brian Green a true slice of his almighty wrath when he knocked his ass on the fourth round with a swift and graceful, three course punch- right hand hook, then left hand hook and the glorious upper cut that sent “Green” crashing into some kind of abyss. I suppose, we can also conclude that Jesse Porter had his descent into a Kimbo Slice’s punch abyss in a much more merciful way since it was quick and to the point.

Kimbo Slice won again for a fifth time with the help of fellow comrade- Mike Imber which happens to be his long time best friend, manager and promoter. These two together have proven to be a force to be reckoned with. They can’t do anything else but kick ass all over the place and they will continue doing so.

Mike Imber is an intelligent business man that doesn’t jump the gun. All his moves are well planned and he plans and prepares Kimbo Slice for upcoming events and fights as one would do in a chest game of sorts…

Mike Imber and Kimbo Slice also have other factors that motivate them and drive them to win, such as their devout involvement in raising awareness on Autism. Both men are completely devoted and submerged in charities that are dedicated on this cause just as much as they are themselves. One of these charities/centers is “Our Own Place.”

Sure they’re hardcore, ass kicking guys in the ring but hey also aim to do the same for other causes, only these causes don’t require boxing gloves, butt kind- hearted and good spirited folk that want to give back to their communities by helping out on a cause that needs much more attention centered around it.

Stacey Wohl & Our Own Place

Stacey Wohl is the founder and creator of “Our Own Place,” an organization solely devoted to educate and pamper those who have children with Autism and other special needs. She caters to the children and their parents & other loved ones. A while back when Stacey Wohl was trying to find after school help and support for her son who is Autistic and she wasn’t able to, she decided to make her own facility/center for children with Autism and other special needs. She helped many parents and Autistic children in an array of ways.

“Our Own Place” became a haven not only for children with special needs but also, for the parents. The facility remained open during holidays and other special dates for parents that need support and a place to spend with their family and others that share similar struggles.

Our Own Place offered a number of different activities and therapeutic methods to help Autistic children and their loved ones. From speech therapy to special outings, sports and fitness classes, meditation, yoga, counseling for both the children and the parents and many more activities for these families that often felt alone. They seem to have found a home outside their home at “Our Own Place.”

Stacey Wohl is much too familiar with that sensation, being a parent herself of two Autistic children. She often found herself alone and desolate, not knowing how to spend the days with her two children that just need a little more stimulation than most children. Instead of laying in bed like she did for sometime in panic, she decided to take action and create a haven not only for her and her children but for other parents like herself and their children…

As of late, the facility does not have a space for it out grew itself, the facility is on stand by as I write this but not for long as Stacey Wohl is working hard on finding a new space to better accommodate everyone in her facility and fundraising. Naturally she needs funds for a larger space with room for even more expansion as things continue to grow and evolve.

You would think after months of preparation for Kimbo Slice’s fight against his most dangerous opponent ever, Brian Green- Kimbo and his manager, Icey Mike Imber would go on some kind of vacation, some kind of time off from it all. But this dream team of talent and management are at their prime so there’s no stopping them and if anything they’re more motivated than ever before to take on more challenges, fights and other projects such as charity work.

Surely, Kimbo Slice is preparing for his next professional boxing match under his best friend and manager, Icey Mike Imber. We still don’t have many details, except that there is one in the works and we sure hope to have those details for you real soon.

Kimbo Slice Wins 4th Professional Boxing Match Under Mike Imber’s Management

Once again Kimbo Slice under the management of big time promoter, Mike Imber has won his 4th professional boxing match. Many were iffy about this fight and Kimbo being able to come out triumphant due to his age and actual training and experience in boxing. However, for those who are die hard fans of the well known “street fight brawler” knew that with his iron fist and full horsepower he’d be able to take down Mr. Brian Green and he sure did and very swiftly.

Kimbo Slice indeed knew he was going up against a tough opponent. Brian Green is also an MMA fighter with 22 wins and a professional boxer with 7 consecutive wins. Certainly, someone to be reckoned with…Under Mike Imber’s management Kimbo Slice went under rigorous training that prepared him for his toughest opponent to date.

Kimbo Slice went into the ring ready to take Brian Green down. In the first round he was going for the kill trying to bust out his signature knock out punch but Brian Green was a tad quick for him, surely on his feet. Nonetheless, Kimbo Slice landed some nice punches on Brian Green and vice versa. The fight continued all the way to a fourth round in which was on his way to a decision victory.

Three seconds before the ending of the 4th round Kimbo Slice busted out with three consecutive punches: He lands a left hook then a right hook and finally a left uppercut combo in which Brian Green goes down like a ton of bricks. Truly epic finally in which naturally Team Kimbo and Mike Imber go in an uproar of cheers and excitement as they begin celebrating Kimbo Slice’s 4th victory in professional boxing under Mike Imber’s management and guidance.

Mike Imber A.K.A. “Icey” and his partner/client/friend have united against the fight against Autism. A disorder that affects children without any discrimination every year. The duo are best known for their friendship and business collaborations together. Basically, Mike Imber is a big time promoter and has been Kimbo Slice’s bud since way back in their high school days. They’ve been through so much together and with Mike Imber’s incredible gift for spotting out talent and being an incredible promoter which discovered the great potential and gift in his friend, Kimbo Slice when he first saw him in back yard street fight.

Mike Imber began video taping these street fights and putting them on YouTube. Needless to say, Kimbo Slice became an over night internet sensation as he took opponent down with his swift fist, one by one, becoming a sensation in the underground fighting niche and Mike Imber architecting his career with careful moves.

Since then Kimbo Slice with Mike Imber as his manager. Kimbo became a MMA fighter, actor and internet personality and now most recently a professional boxer. Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and “Icey” Mike Imber have teamed up outside of the boxing ring in order to help support the fight against Autism.

Autism manifests itself in many forms. Generally, Autism is identified as being part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It is an impairment that affects the way children perceive the world around them. Children with Autism usually have difficulty having normal social interactions and communicating with others.

Icey Mike Imber Talks About RK, Kimbo Slice and Living in Miami

There’s no doubt that “Icey” Mike Imber is best known for being Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson’s long time manager. From Kimbo’s days of “backyard brawls”, and up to this very moment in his professional boxing matches, you can still find Mike Imber in Kimbo’s corner. Even if he isn’t physically in Kimbo’s corner during a fight, you can bet that Icey Mike is hard at work back at the headquarters of Team Kimbo in Miami, Florida, building a brand that is known around the world.
